A Very Merry Rotary Christmas

Rotary Club of Bathurst Daybreak Ho Ho Ho 🌞🌭🎅

It’s an Aussie Christmas at Daybreak Rotary,
Where the sun’s so hot it could melt your esky,
The Rotarians crank the BBQ’s before it’s even eight,
Someone’s already yelling, “Who brought the flies, mate?!”

Our voluntary workers—absolute bloody legends,
Serving the community with snag-scented intentions,
Tongs in hand, sweat in eyes, spirits mighty fine,
Living the dream at holiday time!

The prawns are curling, the pav is sweating,
Someone’s burned the chops (but we’re all forgetting),
Kids run wild, Santa’s stuck in the heat—
He swapped the reindeer for a Hilux ute!

Rotarians sizzling like a Christmas roast,
Flipping snags proudly—it's what we do most,
Keeping Bathurst fed, one sausage at a time—
Now THAT’S an Aussie Christmas in its prime!

So cheers to the heat, the laughs, the fun,
To BBQ smoke and a well-earned cold one,
From Rotary Club of Bathurst Daybreak, we say—
Merry Aussie Christmas in a true blue Aussie way! 🌞🎅🌭
